My name is Mark Buckley
I am a Certified Surgical Technician (scrub tech) by trade.
I have been a turner for about 4 years and love it as a hobby.
I started selling the pens and bowls I make right after I started turning
and
I love doing it. My wife usually gets the prototypes that I make and
after that
everything is for sale

I like to offer my customers a fair price, and a quality product.
After all that is what everyone wants.
A nice product at a fair price, something that is made in America.

We do not cut live trees to harvest the wood for the bowls.
I drive around to construction sites and cut the wood I need.

Our Bowls are made from the following woods.
Mesquite, Osage Orange (bois-d arc) Pecan, Ash. And Cedar.

The Layered bowls are made of Yellow Heart, Paduak, Purple Heart,
Spalted Maple,Cedar and Box Elder.

The Bowls with the Red Stains are Box Elder and the stain is caused
by Bacteria in the tree as it grows. Do not worry It is safe.

All Pens are made from Wood, Acrylic, Dymondwood, or Deer Antler.

We do not kill deer for the antler,
We buy most of it, or it is given to us.

All Bowls are coated with at least 8 coats of DEFT and than buffed with
Carnuba wax.

Alabaster
I have started Turning Alabaster and It is cool stuff
I can make Bowls and vases but it takes a few days.
I like the segmented rings so most will have them on it.
Being stone realize that they will be a little heavy
and somewhat FRAGILE.
